The Whole Story: The God who was, and is, and is to come. What would it be like if you only had the 1st half of a great novel or the 2nd half of an epic movie? Wouldn't the novel seem incomplete without the ending? Wouldn't the movie seem difficult to understand without the beginning?God is the author of the greatest story ever told and His story has a magnificent beginning found in the book of Genesis and a powerful ending found in the book of Revelation. Like all great stories, God's story has romance, adventure, mysterious twists and turns, and nail biting suspense; all building up to a powerful climax where the hero carries out a very bold and daring mission to rescue his lover who's been taken captive by the evil villain. The story gets very intense when it appears for a moment like the hero is losing, but in the end, his plan succeeds, the evil villain is defeated and the lovers are reunited back together. The conclusion of the story is that great triumphant, heartwarming scene we all love to see when the groom and the bride embrace and ride off into the sunset to that Shangri-la place to live happily ever after. What makes God’s story really interesting is that He is both the Author and the Hero in the story. He is both the Creator and the Messiah. God the Father and God the Savior. It’s not easy to see at times, but if you look at God’s story through the right lenses, you will see that God embedded this incredible mystery throughout the entire story. God’s story is all about His passion for you and Him to spend eternity together and He will do just about anything to insure success- even dying on a cross if necessary. Listen to the message, “The Whole Story” and learn about the richness of God’s promises found in our Jewish roots and the fulfillment of those promises found in our Christian future. You will soon discover that there is really only One Story, One Faith, One Hope One Messiah, and One God; the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Scripture used in this message:
